Even though the summer is not quite over yet we have a clear winner in terms of most fish caught. When we will publish our top ten list on Thursday I fully expect West Ranga to be over the 8000 salmon mark. That is more than double the amount of salmon caught from the river in second place – Midfjardara.

Though most of the salmon is grilse there has been a healthy amount of MWS this summer. Just recently a 104 cm salmon was caught in the river.

We have already started selling our slots in the river for 2017 if you are interested contact us soon as possible as the days sell very fast.
