The salmon has arrived in Iceland!

It is that time of the year when anglers start gazing in to every river to see if the precious salmon has arrived for another year. And so it has!

The first river to report sightings of salmon was Laxa in Kjos and that was as early as 15th of May. Lately we have been getting reports all over that salmon has arrived in rivers such as our very own Blanda, Nordura, Þvera/Kjarra, Ellidaar, Þjorsa and more.

The season will officially open in Nordura on June 4th, Blanda will follow on June 5th.
