There have been some big fish landed in Iceland , every year it seems that we land more and more fish over 20 pounds , now it is not a great news any more as it used to be few years back , this increase must be because of the catch and release for the last few years in Iceland , almost every two winter Salmon is now released in this country. The biggest fish of the season is now a 30 pounder from big Laxa up north , Vididalsa , Vatnsdalsa , Sela , Hofsa , Breiddalsa have all produced fish or several fish over 20 pounds this season , last big fish was cought couple of days ago from the Vididalsa by Johann Rafnsson , 101 cm long and over 20 pounds.
