The uppermost beat in the river Blanda has long been regarded as one of the best kept secret in the Icelandic angling community. The beat offers clear and delicate waters
and only holds 3 rods and the fishing can be incredible. Up to 420 salmon caught in only 45 days, all on small flies and hitch tubes.
