In only six days river Blanda will open. Needless to say we are getting very excited, conditions are promising and we are optimistic for a good start.

The record for the opening of the river was set in 2016 with 99 salmon caught on the four rods in the first two days. We are hardly going to see numbers like that this year but you never know, the normal opening is giving between 30 – 40 salmon which is excellent fishing. In the opening all of the salmon is normally multi- winter salmon from 10-20 pounds so you can imagine the fun.
