Fishing continued to be very good this weekend in the Blanda river. On Saturday only two salmons were caught, 10 and 11 lbs, but those were caught by beginners. The following day more advanced anglers took over and caught seven salmons and the average weight was excellent. The smallest one was 9 lbs and the biggest ones were 18 and 19 lbs. The rest was between 11 and 13 lbs. The ones who finished the weekend‘s fishing yesterday morning got also 7 salmons – including two around 15 lbs. It is safe to say that things are heating up in the north.
