We still have a few open places for the Monster trout in Lake Þingvellir in April.
The brown trout in the lake is also known as the ice age trout and it can grow to an enormous size. Reports from the past are of trout over 40 pounds but in recent time trout over 30 pounds has been caught and catching a ten pound one is not unusual.
