Langadalsa Salmon River- Final Numbers

The Langadalsa is a gem of a salmon fly river in the West Fjords. It has been very popular due to its stunning surroundings and excellent fly pools.

Last year was one of the poorest years the river has had but this year the catch was considerably better with a final tally of 237 salmon which is 99 more than 2017.

The best fly was the lethal Francis with the red variation with 56 salmon and the black one 47. That is around 40% of the catch on the good old Francis!

We have some dates available for next year in the river, it is absolutely perfect for a group of friends or a family.
