It has been fantastic fishing on the lake Thingvallavatn this spring , Thingvallavatn is just 40 minutes drive from the capital Reykjavik. Every day there are reports of great big Brown trout as big as up to over 20 pounds ! Now this fishing is fly only and only catch and release , the results are great , we are having reports of as many as 20 great big Brown Trouts landed a day to a rod.
