The Asgard beat in river Sog not only has salmon in the summer time but also a healthy stock of arctic char. The char live year long in the river and thrive in the cold water.
This sporing the fishing for the char has been nothing short of excellent with now close to 200 caught. Along with the char we have also caught large brown trout and the odd sea trout.
This is truly world class char fishing and overlooking the beat there is a luxurious self – catering lodge.
