As you may have heard many rivers in Iceland have had their best opening ever. Blanda, Norðurá, Þverá/Kjarrá all opened with a record catch. We just heard from our guys in Blanda that the fishing there is still going strong and new fish are pouring in on every tide. Kola river to day , we are not catching numbers but what we are catching is very big fish , here is my super guide Pasha holding my morning catch , 106 cm long 56 cm over the belly , LOOP Cross 1 15 foot and my strong LOOP Evotec reel did great job on this fish. Arni arnibald@lax-a.is
