The West is the best
Even though the summer is not quite over yet we have a clear winner in terms of most fish caught. When we will publish our top ten list on Thursday I fully expect West Ranga to be over the 8000 salmon mark. Another week and another list. Things are getting slower except for West Ranga which had the best week of the season with 1119 salmon caught. The main reason behind those staggering numbers is that worm and spinner were allowed back in the river after the fly only period.
