This season both the Ranga Rivers have started slower than last year. In the East river the fishing has been particularly slow with just a few caught each day. River Svarta opened on July first and so far seven salmon have been caught in the river and several lost. Svarta is known to be a late river so this beginning is close to what we would call normal. Blanda is in okay shape and all beats are giving salmon each day. Up to date the catch is 90% MWS …
