Country Estate El Santuario

The following proposal contains examples of hunting packages that will allow hunters to practice 3 different types of hunting in the same natural environment.

The current proposal is but an example of the range of possibilities that our country estate offers hunters, as well as of the experience our organization, at the disposal of our guests and fully customizable at any time.

Possibilities include accomodation either at our country estate, or at hotels in nearby villages or main cities, and combining hunting activities with sightseeing or relaxation, including visits to horse or fighting bull breeding farms, bullfights with young bulls (capea), mounted bullfights (rejoneo), etc.

During these activities guests will be accompanied at any time by bilingual guides in order to make them feel they are staying on their very own country estate.

The estate is located in the heart of the La Mancha region, an area of mayor relevance to the world of partridge beating in Spain.

Various montain ranges cross the estate from East to West, creating rough and uneven valleys, filled with oak trees, whose slopes are the ideal setting for red partridge beating as well as game hunting, mainly of wild boars.

With its landscape full of gall oaks and holm oaks, the estate offers shelter and protection to these species that are bred in the very same game reserve, which features vast meadows ideally suited for the breeding of the red partridge.

Moreover, two extensive lakes situated in different parts of the country estate provide the possibility of incredible duck beatings, of ducks that were born and raised on these same lakes.

Our estate preserves and encourages hunting customs and traditions, trying to maintain at all times the true essence of hunting. We offer an exclusive and preferential service, never mixing different groups in the same hunting party.

Commitment with hunting and with the hunters is the main priority of Jorge Sarvise, the person responsible for the country estate. A man of great personality and caracter but above all a man who loves the essence of hunting, as well as a big hunting expert, inmensely valued by our clients who have been placing their trust in his professional experience and competence for many years now by visiting our estate from different places all over the world.

The estate is situated in the municipality of Carrizosa, province of Ciudad Real, in the heart of Castilla La Mancha, Spain, at a distance of 220 Km from Madrid and 290 Km from Valencia.

Our personnel at the country estate will do its utmost to make your stay truly unforgettable.

The hunting party will be composed of 6 to 12 rifles, not including the assistants.

At the stand, the hunter will have a loader and a secretary at his disposal, in order to assist him at any time, considering the large amount, speed and flight altitude of the partridges.

A total of 5 beatings a day can be organized, with a daily average of 1000 partridges.

Each beating will last between 35 and 45 minutes, during which the partridges will be released in small parties, for a more exciting experience, as this means the hunter will be able to shoot continously until the end.

Guests will have breakfast together at 9 a.m., after which they will leave the country estate to be transferred to the hunting grounds.

There will be three hunts in the morning, and two in the afternoon. A the end of each session, while the secretaries collect the partridges, an aperitif will be served on location.

Between the third and fourth session, a high quality light meal will be served in an uncomparable setting, for guests to regain forces.

At the end of the hunting sessions, the main meal will be served.

Depending on weather conditions, this meal will be served either outdoors on location, or at the country estate.

The day begins with a large breakfast at the country estate, towards the end of which the stands will be drawn. The participants will then be transferred to the hunting grounds. Hunting will start around 10 a.m. at which time the hunting dogs will be released.

Hunting will end around 14.30 h, depending on the day.

At the end of the hunting session, hunters and secretaries will go to the place where the boars lie, in order to mark them. The boars will then be collected and taken to the country estate so that photographs can be taken.

A fine high quality hunting meal, including regional products and specialities, will then be served to celebrate an unforgettable day.

More photographs can be taken after the meal, followed by a magnificent party at the country estate.

Our country estate features a stately mansion with 10 bedrooms, 3 living rooms, 2 kitchens, a dining room, a library with fireplace and other comfortable outbuildings.
