It may not look like it at the moment but soon the fishing starts in Iceland. In the last three weeks we have been battered with one storm after the other with loads of snow and some rain in between.

The trout fishing in Iceland starts on April 1st. Then the first rivers open for trout and sea run trout. We offer good options for trout fishing with a selection of rivers with brown trout, arctic char and sea run trout.

The salmon arrives a little later with the first rivers opening June 1st.

Soon spring will arrive and for us here in Iceland it wont come soon enough.
