Now it is less than four weeks until the salmon season starts in Iceland. River Norðurá opens first on June third and then beat one in Blanda opens on June 5th. A few other beats open early but most of the rest of the rivers open June 20th.

We are hearing reports of good snow status in many regions which should keep us in water in to the summer.

We are as always quite optimistic of a good summer catch wise. Great summers seem to come every other year here in Iceland for the past years. Last summer was not special so we are hoping for a very special summer this year.

East Ranga will be very exciting to monitor as we have tripled the smolt release and are expecting a much improved catch.
