Sog Asgard in 2018

The river Sog is Iceland’s largest freshwater river and it has a long history of salmon fishing.  In the past decades the river has been known for its large fish which are renowned fighters. When you hook up to a genuine Sog fish you are in for a fight and the fish has ample amounts of water to help with the fight.

The Sog is a large river by Icelandic standards and the fishing is divided in to several beats. We have exclusive rights to the Asgard beat where there are three rods allowed. There is a very nice self-catering lodge with three ensuite rooms, a veranda with a Jacuzzi and a sauna.

Asgard is only 45 minute drive away from Reykjavik providing easy quick transport.

We still have some prime slots left in Asgard for 2018. This is great chance to rent you own beat in a river with a beautiful comfortable lodge.
