Miðdalsá up west is a gin clear little river which offers mainly arctic char but also the odd salmon. There is a cozy little cabin included with two small rooms.
Miðdalsá is one of our most budget friendly options. You can rent the whole river with licenses for two rods and the lodge – all private for prices from 1990 euros for a whole week. That is cheaper per night than most hotels in Iceland!
