Lax-á now offers two private beats in Zone 1 & Zone 2 of Lakselva , the lowest beats on the river, where many of the largest salmon are caught. The beats offers exclusive fishing for 4 rods and has a new fully service catering luxury lodge right on the bank. The beats are close to the mouth of the river, all salmon travelling up Lakselva go through this beats. The lodges (there are actually two cabins for this beats) are brand new, built in early 2011 and are very comfortable with a private room for every rod.

Included with every rod is the total package, pick up at the airport, guides, luxury lodge, delicious food, wine & drinks. No bills and full service all the way and we have already sold two weeks of our four weeks . Our available weeks are from the 15th ot 22nd of July & 12th to 19th of August.

Lakselva is one of the best known salmon rivers in Norway, particularly for her huge salmon. The largest salmon go over 50 lbs each year – it’s truly a remarkable river.

The season starts in June and ends at the end of August each year, with heavyweight (30 + pounds) running fresh until the end of the season. Lakselva is not as big as many of the other famous salmon rivers around her, access is very good on our beat and wading is easy. The double handed rods are the tools of choice though, not due to the size of the river – but the size of the fish.

The new accomidation is a luxury lodge with four rooms, one for every rod. Included is delicious food during all the trip, wine and drinks. Fantastic food and service during your stay.

The nearest airport to Lakselva is only minutes away from our beat, with direct flights from Gardemoen (Oslo) during the height of the summer; otherwise SAS flies to Lakselva via Tromsö.

No shortage of huge salmon Fresh monsters running until end of August

Beautiful surroundings This relatively small river regularly produces the biggest salmon in Norway
All fishing on a floating line! Calm waters hide the monster salmon.
