News from the Ranga rivers

This season both the Ranga Rivers have started slower than last year. In the East river the fishing has been particularly slow with just a few caught each day. The West River is showing better numbers with between 20-30 fish per day.

If you look at catch report from the last years this can be described as normal.  The good year of 2016 was abnormal with the amount of early MWS runs which provided anglers with a feast in the early days of the season.

This year there are not as many MWS running so we wait for the first big grilse runs. When they arrive we should be in business.
