News from the Kola River – Russia

The Kola river in Russia opened in the beginning of June and the catch so far has been good. Up until now the fish are all massive MWS and the largest ones so far a three 107 cm fish.

In the week from June 10-16th 54 salmon were caught with an average size of 89 CM or  8,8kg – that is a very impressive average size. Basically, if you catch something you know it will be big!

The largest fish this week were one 107cm, 104cm and 101cm – all fish well over 20 pounds.

We have started selling Kola for 2019 if you want some serious fishing at a fair price.
