Much better fishing than last year in Iceland

We are hearing from various rivers that the catches are much better than last year. River Norðurá is back to her good old self and has now over 700 salmon compared to 924 for the whole season last year.

River Blanda is still going really strong and has now over 600 salmon. We heard of one group that caught 100 salmon in two days on Beat I on four rods! That is 12, 5 salmon per rod per day and is surely one of the best fishing in the world.

The upper beats of Blanda are also staring to be very productive with 5-10 salmons per day. In the picture with this article Robert is holding a beautiful two winter salmon from Beat 3.

We have already started booking for 2016, have you secured your rod?
