A monster salmon caught

Vididala river is rennwed for its large salmon and the big guys usually strike in the autumn.

Mr. Nils Folmer Jorgensen was fishing the river this week and had an absolute cracker of a catch.  He caught not one but two salmon over 100cm!

The first one was a male 106cm with 56cm girth and the last one was a whopping 110 cm female with 57cm girth. The female is the largest fish caught in Iceland this summer. In the photo attached which is taken by Mr. Johann Hafnfjörð Rafnsson you can see the beautiful specimen.
