Less expensive fishing

Looking for an inexpensive fishing? How about a great combination up North on beat II and III in Blanda and some trout fishing in Svarta?

Blanda is the longest and most powerful salmon river in Iceland. Beat II, up in the valley, is 25 km long with endless flywater and pools. The beat is fished with 6 rods and the annual catch is 200- 400 salmon.

Beat III is not less impressive, 18 km long and fished with only 3 rods so there is plenty of space for each angler. The annual catch is 100 – 200 salmon, mostly caught in July and the first few days of August.

Svarta trout is the first beat of this gorgeous salmon river. The trout beat is rather big, fished with only two rods and provides both brown trout and char.

To keep the cost down, we offer our anglers to stay in a self catering hut – but anglers have also the choice of staying at our full service lodge in Blanda.
