 Our Guide Helgi Gudbrandsson have been fishing the Icelandic highland rivers for years. He have found some rivers which offers great fishing for big Arctic Charr. He will be our head guide for this new destination. There is a good access to the rivers , only 3 hours drive from Reykjavík , good accommodation in the area where all meals are served as well. Best method for fishing is the up stream nymphing , best season is from April through August. Sizes of the Arctic Charr is from 2 pounds as big as up to 12 - 14 pounds! Look at this monsters , they are bigger than two winter salmon! The ideal trip is to take this aventure for 3 days in addition to your trip taken in Iceland.
