Ásgarður char beat is a nice area that offers good Arctic Char fishing the end of May and beginning of June.
We heard from Tómas Sigurðsson an Icelandic angler who knows Asgarður very well. He spent one day fishing Ásgarður this week and caught eight beautiful chars, all of them from 3-5 pounds.
The char fishing has been good this season even though the weather has been cold and hard on anglers.
