First three days in Hallá

Our small salmon river up North, Hallá opened the 21st of June. As in many other rivers, anglers do not know what to expect the first days. Everything started quietly the first day and a half but yesterday morning a good run of salmon had gone up the river. This resulted in the first salmon of the season in the river caught in the waterfalls.

The same evening anglers lost two more in the river mouth, all fresh fish, and this morning resulted in one salmon lost in Kista pool. Even though the river is not full of fish this is good news from Hallá which offers a great opportunity to catch good size salmon on light tackle.
