We are now hearing reports from various rivers that the first salmon have been seen. Yesterday the first ones were seen in Big Laxa up north, a beautiful two year salmon in the „Kistukvísl“ pool.
Big Laxa is famous for the amount of large salmon caught from the river each year. The river is large by Icelandic standards and provides a nice environment for the big boys to thrive.
We have a few rods left in prime time, August 2-8th.
