East Ranga is best known for two reason; high annual catches and, a good number of mws, especially in July.

East Ranga and West Ranga share many similarities, both are highly productive rivers (they’e taken turns on being the numer 1 and number 2 rivers in Iceland for the past several years) both are double hand rod rivers with beautiful scenery.

West Ranga has had the upper hand on her sister regarding volume for the past few years, but East Ranga has produced bigger salmon in July. In early July, East Ranga produces mainly multi winter salmon anda a good number of them as well.
