East Ranga – Late summer

The late summer days in Iceland can be magical. The sunsets are exceptionally beautiful and the fishing can get quite good.

Late summer and autumn many of Iceland’s largest fish are caught, especially males which get more aggressive as thy get closer to spawning. Some of those big guys did not look once at a fly in the height of summer but view it now as an intruder and want to terminate it.

East Ranga has had a very good success in the MWS rate for the past years. Up to and over 80% of the fish caught have been MWS. Hopefully there will be plenty of them aggressive salmon about next autumn when you will be there?

We have a special offer for the East Ranga – late summer.
