Blanda river is one of the most powerful and known rivers in Iceland. The beat 1 on the Blanda river has the biggest catches of the whole river but holding only 4 rods. I believe even beat 1 has the highest catch per rod per day of all salmon rivers in Iceland. At Blanda river last year there were caught 2.611 salmon and far most of that were caught on beat 1, this is very impressive specially thinking about that they were mostly caught within 60 days. Beat 1 on the Blanda is both secure for sizes and good numbers.

We have started taking down bookings for summer 2015 already for the Blanda beat 1.
