Sweet salmon is here! Our very own river Blanda will open on Monday but a few rivers have already opened and we have heard news of the first salmon caught.Fresh salmon has already been seen on beat one in Blanda and we are very optimistic about the opening.
The same gang of anglers will open the river as they have for the past years. Last year there was a record opening of 99 fish. I am predicting a more “usual” opening this year with between 20-30 fish.
Blanda is heavily sold bu we have a few rods late July on beat 1. That is definitely something to recommend.
