DESTINATION:

Las Lajitas,  Salta province. Northern Argentina

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Province of Salta, Anta county. Here big populations of doves feed and sleep moving through the feeding fields every day, offering the hunters thousands of shots in a typical day, amazing landscapes and sun all year round. The area, a natural roost on the Andes Mountains, started few years ago with farming in the fertile valleys for sunflower, corn, wheat and sorghum. This provides the perfect environment for the bird’s populations, which reproduces by millions in few years .

According to the National Department of Agriculture, the area we hunt is home to over 100 million birds, making Salta the best dove destination in the country.

Our parties stay in countryside hotel; hunting places are from 5 to 15 minutes away. Weather is dry and warm winters provide an excellent shooting from March to November. Everyday hunters will shot almost 8 hours to incredible and constant flocks of birds.



SEASON:
March / October

1 hour and 10 minutes hunt - 1 gun 210 doves!

PROGRAM:
6 hunts = 3 days – 3 nights. Package / Per person (6 hunters minimum).
Double-occupancy room.

DAY 1
- 13.00 hrs Arrival at Salta airport and reception of the hunters. Go Hunting.
- 20.00 hrs Arrival at the Hotel in Las Lajitas. Accommodation.
- 21.00 hrs Dinner.

DAY 2 / DAY 3
- 06.30 hrs Breakfast
- 07.00 hrs Getting to the hunting area.
- 11.30 hrs Arrival at the Hotel. Lunch.
- 14.00 hrs Getting to the hunting area.
- 18.00 hrs End of hunting activity.
- 19.00 hrs Arrival at the Hotel.
- 20.00 hrs Appetizer.
- 21.00 hrs Dinner.

DAY 4
- 06.30 hrs Breakfast
- 07.00 hrs Go hunting
- 09.30 hrs Arrival at the Hotel.
- 10.30 hrs Departure to Salta city.
- 13.00 hrs Arrival at Salta Airport.
- 14.35 hrs Aerolíneas Argentinas departing to Buenos Aires domestic airport..
- 16.40 hrs Arrival at Aeroparque, Buenos Aires.
- 17.30 hrs Transfer to your hotel.



ACCOMMODATIONS:
Las Lajitas Hotel, close to Las Lajitas village offers with exclusive double-occupancy rooms, with private baths and A.C., sitting rooms with comfortable sofas, bar service, restaurant, etc.

Great Argentinian Asadao during the mid day break hours.	New luxury lodge is going to be ready by mid July 2007.

Included:
accommodation in double-occupancy rooms with private baths, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks and beer, welcome drink when you arrive at the hotel, typical dinner served with wines from Salta, guide/assistant, transport to and from hunting locations, transfer in/out from Salta airport.

Not included:
Domestic air fares, imported whisky or any other strong drink, cigars, clothes, personal equipment. personal insurance and gratuities.

Hunting License:
U$D 60.- per hunter (Salta province)

Temporary gun importation permit:
U$D 70.- * per gun. (goverment tax). Maximun 2 guns.
* Not needed if you use the lodge guns.

Gun rental:
U$D 50.- Per day per gun
To save hunters the inconvenience of traveling with their fire guns, and the importation permit, the operation has its own equipment at clients disposal.

Others:
Domestic air fares, accomodations in Buenos Aires, city tours, tango shows, shopping could be arranged.
