In the province of Chubut, Patagonia, Argentina, the Andes Mountains offer a unique and exclusive fly fishing experience. It is located 125 miles south of the city of Esquel which is the servicing airport to and from Buenos Aires. Tres Valles will give you an opportunity to enjoy an unforgetable fly fishing experience with both wade fishing and float fishing in an incredible array of perfect pools, deep cut banks, fast and slow moving water, intimate spring creeks and outstanding laguna or small lake fishing. The Rio Pico area of Patagonia offers numerous opportunities for all levels of fishing experience in a beautiful and remote backdrop for healthy Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout and occasionally Pacific Salmon as the Rio Pico drains to the Pacific Ocean through Chile.

The lodge accommodates 8 guests in four large bedrooms with private ensuite baths. The lodge is totally brand new and uses local woods and stone in its exquisite construction. Off the main premise is a lakefront dock and boat house for 2 small gaff rigged sailboats for a cruise in the Andes, canoes, kayaks, windsurf boards and belly tubes for fun and fishing.

You will fish in some of Patagonia’s most carefully protected waters against a backdrop of snow-covered Andean peaks.  The Rio Pico and Rio Pampa which are privately accessed by auto from the lodge are easily well worth the scenic drive. Many lurking big browns and brookies in the 20-30 inch range are lying in wait under deep cut banks and crystal clear rips and runs and a number of small lagunas hold prodigious Brook trout coming to a variety of dry fly presentations. A number of Spring Creek pools entice the angler around the 16,000 acres of private ranch land. And the beautiful laguna on which the lodge is nestled holds some massive Rainbows and Browns which have very rarely ever seen a fly.  The opportunity awaits.

Season: November 1– April 30. All fishing is catch and release and single barbless hooks.
