Rio Menendez

A very pritty pool on the Rio Menendez , look at the heart!! The pool name is Potho de Corazon ! Rio Menendez is the biggest tributary of the Rio Grande , Menendez have good run of large Seatrout , just as Rio Grande but not in the same numbers. It is a lovely exciting river where you have to use all your skills to chase up the big seatrout to your dry fly.	Menendez is a smaller river than Rio Grande and you need different fly fishing tackle , you need single handed 5 - 7 weight rod , floating line , uppstream nymph is deadly , so is the skated fly and dry fly work very well

Then we have to change very quickly to large single hook streamer with a long black tail , cast across to the bank , wait a second until you have a good line belly down stream , then long and soft stripp , you will have agressive seatrout after your fly in every cast , macic hour is starting one hour before sunset until dark.
The lodge is Rosita , such a nice place , great lodge with great people!. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a nice view. All have privat bathroom	Finni ( from Iceland ) relaxing in front of the fireplace in Rosita lodge, look at the walls , the floors all in wood.

Rosita is such a relaxing place , it is great to spend few days there before or after fishing the Rio Grande , and Menendez river is for sure worth to fish. At Rosita you can also do horseriding , golfing , sight seeing etc.
