The little seatrout secret of Tierra Del Fuego.

| View from Irigoyen , the nature is completely unspoild , nothing around except wild nature and big seatrout. |
Finni (from Iceland) looking for seatrout, it was the first time for us on the river and we enjoyed every minute of it , so peaceful. |
Finni landing a 10 pound fresh seatrout from Irigoyen, this one was taken on a up stream nymph. Irigoyen is a ideal river for a small group of friends , minimum 4 and maximum 6 rods. |
The lodge is basic, but very cozy and warm , all self catering and you do all the your self, cooking cleaning etc. This is exactly how many anglers want to organize their fishing trip, beeing on our own is what many of us like. We have one or two guides with 4WD vehicles , the guides help with shooping , cooking and cleaning , in fact we all live for a week like a family and everyone is helping each other. |

Large old seatrout from middle part of Irigoyen , over a meter long and around 22 pound, taken on a bead head nymph. All seatrout must be released. Irigoyen river holds large seatrout from 5 pounds and as big as up to 30 pounds , this is the same specie of seatrout as on the Rio Grande and Rio Gallegos. |
Finni relaxing after a good morning fishing at Irigoyen. You fly from Buenos Aries either to Usuaia or to Rio Grande , from there is about 4 hours drive throug rouch roads to the river. |

The legendary guide Big Jorge and Finni having a good time in the little Irigoyen lodge. Big Jorge was guiding us , he knows every single river in Tierre Del Fuego including most of the secrets of Irigoyen. |
A typical pool un the Irigoyen , the area we are fishing is about 12 km long offering good space for 4 to 6 rods. Touch river lots of walking , we can drive by car to half of the pools at the river , the rest we have to walk , in fact very exciting for those who are in good shape!! |
