Africa offers some of the best hunting in the world in stunning wilderness surroundings. While a lot has changed since Hemmingway hunted here, you will still find unspoilt landscapes and abundant wildlife and can still experience sitting under the stars in front of the fire with no electrical lights for miles sipping a drink while contemplating another great day in Paradise.
In 2008-9 Lax-a has done a lot of hunting and research in Southern Africa and we can now offer you a number of very special packages in Namibia and South Africa which we have all tested personally.

Some are special because they bring together combination packages of unique destinations not seen before (e.g. our Namibia 3 Ranches Grand Tour) or offers access to remote mountain hunting rarely accessed by international hunters (our South Africa Rhodes package), while others offer high value budget alternatives without in any way compromising on the quality of the hunt (our bush camp special and our Roisand specials).

Lax-a will soon have its own luxury tented/semi permanent  lodge in a remote mountainous area in Namibia where we will endeavour to offer you five star treatment and great hunting in a exquisite wilderness setting. The lodge is being set up on the banks of a dry river by an old well and near an old campsite used by the  German cavalry more than 100 years ago. The view is spectacular and there are no other sounds than the birds and animals. The camp will be used for small private parties of 2-4 hunters wanting total exclusivity. We are offering exceptionally good introductory prices to a few groups of adventurous hunters to help us fine tune the concept. You will find the tents a bit smaller than the final lodge and there may be some glitches in the service, but you will get it at a 50% discount. Combine your hunting trip to Namibia or South Africa with an extra week or two of general tourism.
In particular we recommend  Namibia which is the ideal family holiday destination with fantastic national parks for game and nature viewing and photography, and with Swakopmund on the coast offering world class shark fishing and a range of adventure activities from sand boarding, to skydiving and paragliding.

Lax-a’s Africa representative is permanently based in Windhoek, Namibia, and can put together your combined hunting, fishing and general tourism trip and provide support during your trip if needed. We recommend combining your hunting trip with a self drive trip to some of the major Namibian attractions, but if you prefer we can also organize a guided trip either privately or with a bigger group.
