Why use a gun, when a camera is sufficient?
For many, the hunt does not neccesarily involve lifting a gun to shoot the trophy. A trophy may be just as important still roaming in its wild habitat after the „hunter“ has taken his shot. We are of course speaking of the ever popular photo safaris to the darm mysterious continent of Africa, kvown for it‘s remarkable wildlife. We have established contacts over the past few years good enough to bring you the best of African photo safaris.
It is even possible to combine such a trip with a typical big game hunt. Africa is probably one of the easiest places on Earth to photograph wild animals. In most other places, animals live in environments that are inaccessible as well as uncomfortably cold and wet. African animals live in a climate very similar to Southern California's. Getting to them is as easy as calling a tour company and having them arrange a Cessna flight to a game lodge's airstrip.
It goes from good to better to excellent and clients are guaranteed a high level of success, they will get in range that is, the rest is up to them. Taking a trip to Africa is about as easy as taking the weekend off here in Reykjavík. More simple for many reasons than visiting bigger cities, as from start to finish you’ll under no conditions have to do your own planning. Everything is in place, as it needs to be. Once there, guides pick you up, tell you when to be ready for dinner or a game drive or whatever, and take you back to your room when it is time to sleep. It may sound a bit beaurocratic, but trust us, once in the bush, stalking lions and elephants, something like that will never cross your minds.
As you will find out, photo shooting is every bit as thrilling as is hunting, as the trophies are the same and if the utmost of care is not taken, they can be just as dangerous, and in fact even more so, as your not about to kill them with your camera are you?
All you need to do is contact us and we’ll see to the rest. We’ll pick the best spot for you, make all the arrangements and all you need to do is to be at the airport before your flight leaves!
