" Chikwenya Safari Lodge " is situated in a private concessionof 12.000 acres on the banks of mighty Zambesi River. The lodge overlooks the river´s floodplain which is famous for its acacia forests , providing a protein rich pod fueling the diverse ecosystem of the lower Zambezi valley. Lion , Leopard, Elephant and Buffalo are abundant as well as Eland , Nyala , Zebra , Kudu , Impala , Bush Buck , Waterbuck , Wild dogs , Baboon and Warthog. This section of the river also hosts one of the highest concentrations of Hippo found anywhere in Africa. teeming with fish of many species , primarily the ferocious Tiger fish, the river provides fishing of unbeatable standard!
