Its been a slow start at River Dee this year as the river conditions and weather haven’t been on the anglers side. The opening week had 41 salmon and the week after 15 salmon. Lower Crathes had three salmons the first week but no luck since then. There is however a bright moment in the season as one of the three salmons was a beautiful 20 pounder. Congratulations to Mr. Paul Grewcock for a beautiful fish (see picture). Although the start isn’t as we would have liked we stay positive and hope with better conditions the fishing will pick up.
