The West Ranga river was on fire this summer and kept its high numbers steady throughout the season. The river sits on top of the list of most salmon caught in Iceland for the summer. From 6th July until almost end of August the river was producing numbers about 800 salmon caught every single week. Now there have been over 8.400salmon caught over the 2016 season.
