East Ranga has had unprecedented results in big salmon returns this year. On September 21st -3149 salmon had been caught in the river and 80% of the catch is MWS.
The East may not have the same quantities as the West Ranga this summer but if you are after something big it surely would be the place to go to.
The river management in the East has actively in recent years caught early going big salmon to reproduce and the result cannot be described as anything else than success.
We very much so look forward to the summer of 2017 in the river and if you are after the big ones look no further than East Ranga.
